Food for special medical purposes containing 2 billion lactic-acid bacteria L. rhamnosus GG, and 5 billion yeasts S. boulardii and fructooligosaccharides.
Properties, characteristics, and justification for use
The use of S. boulardii reduces the duration of acute diarrhoea in children (2005 Jan;94(1)44-7) and adults (1990; 132 188–192; 2003 Aug;9(8)1832-3), and reduces the probability of diarrhoea caused by antibiotic therapy (2005 Dec;17(12)1357-61). According to statistics, travellers' diarrhoea affects up to 50% of travellers in some regions, and the use of the S. boulardii strain reduced the probability of diarrhoea by up to 34% (2007 Mar;5(2)97-105. Epub 2005 Dec 5). The study showed that the administration of 2*10^9 L. rhamnosus GG reduced the probability of travellers' diarrhoea by up to 49% (1990 Feb;22(1)53-6).

Recommended daily dose: children over 3 years of age and adults — 1 capsule once a day, with plenty of liquid, preferably during a meal. The contents of the capsule can be added to the meal at room temperature.
